Ship AI: Ship the Surface
Workuity co-hosts and sponsors Ship AI at Workuity 24th & Camelback. Session five of Zero to Launch: everything about your marketing site in one evening, plus every profile that points at it. Santos Hernandez scaffolds and deploys a site live, tears down real sites on screen, and runs a cold read of a full set of social profiles. Free to attend.
Ship AI: Ship the Surface
Workuity is proud to co-host and sponsor Ship AI (https://www.shipai.club/) at Workuity 24th & Camelback.
Ship AI is a free, community-run AI education project for builders. Its current program is Zero to Launch: six sessions that build a complete go-to-market framework, then a hackathon in October where you don't build, you launch. This is session five.
A marketing site is the one asset every channel points at. Get it wrong and every visitor you earn leaks out of it. Most builder sites fail the same three ways: the hero describes the technology, the proof is adjectives, and three CTAs compete for the same click.
What Santos covers:
1. The structure. Sections, the order they go in, and what the page has to accomplish before it earns a scroll.
2. Teardowns, live. Good sites and bad ones, pulled apart on screen. Send yours ahead in Discord if you want it looked at.
3. Positioning above the fold. The one-liner from session four becomes the hero. If it doesn't survive contact with the page, the positioning was the problem.
4. Proof over adjectives, and one CTA. What counts as evidence to a stranger, how little of it you need, and cutting everything that competes with the primary CTA.
5. The boilerplate handoff. Routing, metadata, OG images. Enough to get deployed the same night if you're building along.
6. The content plan. Working backwards from what your buyer searches for to the first twenty pages.
7. Auditing the rest of your surface. The site is one of maybe eight places someone lands. A real set of profiles gets read cold: what each one signals, what contradicts the positioning, what is abandoned, what is missing. Most of the damage is a stale bio and a banner from two products ago.
8. Running the whole pass agentically, once the positioning is settled.
Format: Santos presents and builds live on screen. Bring a laptop and work along if you want to, or just watch. Nobody is put on the spot, asked to share, or made to present.
You leave with the structure of a site that converts, watched being built, plus a repeatable pass for every social page that points at it.
Every session is free and public whether you compete in October or not, and each one stands alone. Dropping into a single session is a perfectly normal way to show up.
