AI EXCHANGE · COMPLETE SESSION
AI Potential vs. AI Reality: From Ideas to Implementation
About this session
Preston Weekes walks a room of Phoenix business owners from AI potential to AI reality: check in with who you are before you build, the 80/20 rule for what to automate first, a checklist to see where AI is actually touching your business, a maturity model from asking questions to AI employees owning outcomes, and AI across lead generation, sales, client relationships, referrals, upselling and delivery, with a live voice agent, five copyable prompts and an AI Gap Analysis to take home.

Recorded at Workuity Chandler on September 16, 2026. Dan Kite opens with the state of the Workuity AI Exchange after twenty-six consecutive weeks, the workshops coming next, the After Hours mixer, and one assignment: ask the newest models to do a big job, not a small one.
Preston Weekes, a serial founder who scaled from a single $1,600 car to fifteen dealerships and now advises business owners on AI and automation, starts with identity: AI is a reflection of the person building it, so check in with who you are first. Then the shift: not a technology shift but a responsibility shift, told through the business owner who did not have time to try a tool and spent sixteen hours on SEO edits that are one prompt today.
The middle of the session is the map. Where are you today, from asking an LLM questions to AI employees owning outcomes. The Pareto principle applied to a solopreneur: automate the eighty percent of work you are not paid for. Herman, the business-development agent that finds ideal clients and hands them to a CRM. A checklist of six questions to see whether AI is saving you time, making you money, touching your customers, improving follow-up, connected to your systems, and replacing repetitive work. The twenty-minute daily task that is a hundred and twenty hours a year.
Then AI across the business, area by area, with a live voice agent named Rachel answering the room, the psychology of selling a solution instead of a product, and five copyable prompts. Preston closes with the brain map of his companies and agents, a recruiting agent that reads a thousand applicants, and his goal: Jarvis. Dan closes the room with the reminder that every system on that map started with one.
